On December 22, a 39-year-old boxing fan, Frederic, arrived at Zhangmutou township of Dongguan from France to challenge Wang Chang'an, the 12th-generation descendent of Zhaobao Taichi Chuan (a traditional Chinese martial arts style).

After several rounds of competition, Frederic lost to the Taichi master and decided to stay and learn Taichi Chuan from Zhao for another two weeks as granted in his visa.

Frederic is a huge fan of the art of boxing. Besides Western boxing, he has also studied a Chinese martial arts style, known as the Plum-Blossom Mantis Boxing, for 20 years. One day, he learned from the Internet that Wang was teaching fighting techniques in Zhangmutou and really wished to have an exchange with him.
