Ivetta Irkha was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. At the age of 12 Ivetta was admitted to the Special School of Music in Kharkiv. As a student she worked with Faina Zekhanskya, Garry Gelfgat, Sergey Yoshkevich who also was her Professor at the Conservatory of Kharkiv. At the age of 10 Ivetta made her debute with Kharkivs Philharmonic orchestra. She finished The Conservatory of Kharkiv with highest grades and later the Royal Music Academia in Stockholm, Sweden. After Ivettas Diploma concert with the royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Stockholm her Swedish Professor said: "She combines devout poetry with musical intelligence".

Ivetta Irkha won several international piano competitions, among them: First price in Kils Piano Competition (1996) Sweden, Grand Prix in the International Nyborg Piano competition (1998 Denmark), International Lysenko Piano competition (Ukraine), Solist Price Competition (Stockholm Sweden).
